Session Details

Timing

Heirloom Sessions are 10 minutes in length. The short session time keeps the experience relaxed and manageable for little ones while still allowing us to create a beautiful variety of portraits.


Location

All sessions take place at the Lansing Studio, where consistent lighting and a calm environment help create soft, timeless images.


Who Can Participate

These sessions are perfect for individual child portraits, and siblings are welcome to be photographed together within your session time.

Heirloom Sessions are gently guided but never rushed or overly posed. I’ll work efficiently to capture natural expressions, subtle personality, and genuine connection. The goal is to keep the experience light, positive, and comfortable so your child can simply be themselves.


Because the setup is intentionally simple and classic, the focus stays where it belongs — on your child’s features, expressions, and this stage of life.

Your Gallery & Editing


After your session, you’ll receive a curated gallery of 10–15 professional portraits.


Each selected image includes enhanced retouching with attention to:

  • Natural skin tone and complexion
  • Flyaway hair cleanup
  • Eye sharpness and clarity
  • Overall polish while maintaining a natural, true-to-life look


Your final images are designed to feel refined, timeless, and artwork-ready.

Each Heirloom Session includes one complimentary 8x10 fine art print. This archival print is created on professional fine art paper and is perfect for framing or displaying in your home. You’ll be able to choose your favorite image from your gallery for this piece.
