2026 Heirloom Studio Sessions
Heirloom Sessions focus on classic portraiture and fine art children’s photography in soft light, clean backgrounds, and genuine expressions. Heirloom Sessions are gently guided but never rushed or overly posed.

The session sitting fee is $295 and includes one digital image. You’ll have access to a gallery of fully retouched, high-resolution portraits from which you can select your favorite images and purchase artwork or additional digitals.
Timing
Heirloom Sessions are 15 minutes in length. The session time keeps the experience relaxed and manageable for little ones while still allowing us to create a beautiful variety of portraits.
Location
All sessions take place in a studio setting where consistent lighting and a calm environment help create soft, timeless images. 2026 Heirloom Portrait Sessions are offered on two dates only:
October 3, 2026 | Lansing, Michigan
October 11, 2026 | Ann Arbor, Michigan
Who Can Participate
These sessions are perfect for individual child portraits. Each child or sibling will need their own session time to be photographed.

Heirloom portraits are all about a classic, timeless look. Simple, neutral clothing photographs beautifully and keeps the focus on your child’s face and expression.
Soft neutrals like cream, white, light blue, blush, or tan photography beautifully. Classic pieces such as dresses, rompers, button-ups, or simple knits with minimal patterns and logos. Plan for bare feet or simple shoes. The goal is clean, classic, and comfortable — nothing too distracting.

Step 3: Choose Your Heirloom Artwork
Within 5 days you will receive your proofing gallery. Each family will have three beautiful finished product options to choose from.
